The Weeden House Museum is one of Huntsville’s most unique venues for events. The house lends a cozy yet elegant atmosphere to meetings, parties, or weddings. Also, because the Weeden House is strictly a venue, our clients are able to customize their special day to their liking. We allow both indoor (maximum 100 guests) and outdoor (maximum 250 guests) events, with both types allowing use of the house and the garden. The house is climate controlled and guests are invited to make use of the home’s furnishings. The site also features a conveniently located restroom, and a fully equipped catering kitchen.

Rates:

1. Daytime Events (Before 5:00 PM)
Teas, Coffees, Luncheons, etc.
Rate: $175.00 per hour
2. Evening Events (5:00 PM or later)
Dinners, Cocktail Parties, etc.
Rate: Minimum is $750.00 which includes four (4) hours of rental. An additional hour may be purchased for $150.00
3. Weddings
Our standard wedding package is $1,000.00 which includes one hour rental the evening before for the wedding rehearsal and four (4) hours rental for the wedding/reception (time allotted refers to the hours that guests will be present, an additional hour prior to and following the event is allowed for set-up and clean-up). If additional hours are needed for the rehearsal dinners or longer wedding receptions, there is a charge of $150.00 per hour while guests are present.
The suggested time for rehearsals: 5:00 PM or 5:30 PM
SOME RENTAL RULES
1. All clients MUST pay a $250.00 security deposit which will be refunded after the event provided that the museum has not sustained any damage during the event.
2. All evening events MUST end at 10:00 PM
3. A rental contract MUST be signed and a deposit paid when booking the museum.
